Quantum Racing is a part of the BGSU Society of Physics Students and was formed as the first entrant in the Inaugural Grand Prix of BG held April 22, 2006. While racing is a main interest of the team, it also values education. Quantum Racing and the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Bowling Green State University view the team and the race in general as an opportunity to teach physics in an exciting and involved environment. There are also plans to use Quantum Racing as an outreach tool to local high school physics classes.

The team would like to extend a special thanks to our advisor Alex Hann who has put in countless hours of work to help us in the pursuit of our mission. Without him, this team would not exist. We would like to thank Dr. Van Hook for helping us with the development of our outreach program. Also, a large thank you goes to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Bowling Green State University and the Chair Dr. Laird for their continued support and encouragement.
