For the convenience of the meeting participants, we have arranged for you to be able to obtain both flight and hotel reservations through a single travel agent in Bowling Green. She can make reservations for air travel to Toledo or to Detroit Metro as well as make the room reservations at the two motels with which we have made arrangements for blocks of rooms to be available until October 17.
DIRECTIONS:
Bowling Green is just off Interstate 75 at exit 181 about 20 miles south of Toledo and about 80 miles from Detroit Metro Airport. It is strongly recommended that flights be routed to arrive and leave from the Toledo Express Airport, which is about 25 miles from Bowling Green and is west of Toledo. Due to construction on I-75 between Detroit and Toledo, it may be a nightmare to get from Detroit Metro to Bowling Green in a reasonable time. Each participant is responsible for obtaining ground transportation from Toledo Express or from Detroit Metro to Bowling Green. To get to the campus from I-75 take exit 181. You will then be pointing west and on East Wooster St. Just after exiting you will encounter the Bowling Green State University sign at the first stoplight. Turn right to proceed to the Visitor Information Center to obtain directions and a parking permit [at no charge] for campus parking while at the meeting. After obtaining the parking permit, proceed to the parking area assigned. It should be within a few walking minutes of Olscamp Hall, which is building 44 on the clickable map of the Bowling Green State University campus.
