Sample of stars employed in Catelan (1998, ApJ, 495, L81). ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The light curve data were obtained from heterogeneous references, and were either retrieved electronically, scanned from the original published reference (most frequent case), or typed in when the scanner failed to read the tables. The format of the tables is as in the quoted references. The notes present in the originals next to the data were kept. (Likely) typos were occasionally detected in the original tables, and are noted upon where appropriate. The scanner encountered difficulties differentiating (mainly) "6" and "8" and/or "2"/"7"/"1" sometimes. Though I attempted to correct for that, I cannot guarantee that there are no remaining errors due to the poor performance of the scanner in some cases. It might be interesting to have a student double-check the numbers to see if there are any remaining errors. The periods listed are those derived by the Hipparcos mission (Perryman et al. 1997, A&A, 323, L49 -- CD-ROM). They are often, though not always, more accurate than those found in the quoted literature. If additional data prove necessary, Fitch et al. (1966) and Bookmeyer et al.
