Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle
Werner Heisenberg, a Bohr protégé proposed a version of quantum mechanics based on matrices.
His idea: Measuring one of Bohr’s complementary quantities (position) made the other (momentum) uncertain by a quantitative amount:
