You do not need to apply to the MAT program to take the MAT courses. To take the courses with non-degree-seeking status, contact Brenda Sattler (419-372-7965, bsattle@bgsu.edu) at the Graduate Student Registration office in the Registrar's office at BGSU.
She will fax or mail you a very brief application form that you can send back to her. You do not need any GRE scores, transcripts, or letters of recommendation for this application form. Please also contact us to let us know that you will be taking the courses outside the degree program.
You may transfer up to nine credit hours of the MAT coursework into the MAT program if you later decide to apply to the program.
